Bill grew up in a small village in rural Maine with a video camera on his shoulder from a young age, often helping at his dad’s freelance video production business as well as working with his dad on the road at NASCAR races.
After completing communications and IT roles in the U.S. Army, Bill went on to earn his degree in Communications and Media Technology. During this time, he found a calling to serve in the church and met his wife Terri just in time to step into ministry together, first in campus and youth ministry, then as an international missionary to Santa Cruz, Bolivia. After helping with several churches and church plants, Bill focused on serving in production every way possible, most recently as a Communications and Production Director at Crossbridge Church in Miami, providing live streaming and online communications right before the pandemic threw the church into an online-only model of services.
In 2022, Bill’s wife Terri took a job at UT Austin, which prompted the move to the area and created an opportunity for Bill to serve on the Family Life Production Team. While on the Production Serve Team, the opportunity for more responsibility led to Bill coming on staff with our church. When not working at the church, Bill also works as a full time audiovisual design engineer, working remote from home while leading his daughter through virtual school activities.
When he’s not setting up camera angles or building serve teams, Bill enjoys the challenge of mountain biking and spending time with his wife Terri and daughter Kobi while exploring the Austin area and learning about great adventures ahead!
Bill currently serves Family Life Austin as our Production Team Coordinator.
