Annie Kim Hedrick is a wife, mother, and considers herself a “Jill” of many trades. She and her husband, Robert, moved to the city of Austin in 2013. She served in youth and children’s ministry with Mosaic Church for the past eight years before joining Family Life. She has worked with kids from infants to high schoolers through arts programs and in ministry. She has been apart of Every Nation since 2001 as a high school student through the help of her sister who was a campus missionary. She began working in youth and children’s ministry as a college student while studying theatre at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, GA. She relocated to NYC to continue studies in musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), and began advocating for children’s literacy while also serving in children’s ministry with Dream Center NYC. She has experience with running after school programs for elementary school students (PreK-5th grade), she does theater workshops for middle and high school students, and she currently works at Kumon helping early learners with reading, writing, and arithmetic. Annie is passionate about building relationships with young people where they feel safe, loved, and purposeful. Annie currently still performs in local theater in the Austin area, to which much of her work is about anti-racism while exuding the character of God. Her hobbies include costume design, playing ukulele, cooking new recipes, and swing dancing.
Annie currently serves Family Life Austin as our FamLife Kids Coordinator
