Karie moved to Austin, Texas with her husband Steven from Nashville, Tennessee in February 2023. Karie has spent most of her career in the beauty industry doing hair and makeup for brides and magazines. She also worked full time with Paul Mitchell schools, where she took on many roles that focused on marketing, student advising, fundraising, and event coordinating. Karie served at her local Every Nation church in Nashville on the worship team as well as with the singles ministry. Prior to moving to Austin, Karie stepped into ministry working full time at Every Nation in the Missions department where she focused on equipping churches to send those who felt called to the mission field through the Life Year program. She worked with Every Nation’s world missionaries as well as supported in coordinating and leading Ten Days short term mission trips. In Karie’s free time she enjoys taking dance classes, baking, and trying out new restaurants. Karie is passionate about the next generation of leaders, and equipping those who are called to serve the Lord through local and global missions. Karie now serves as the Missions Coordinator for Family Life Austin and is excited to equip those who are ready to be on mission for Jesus.
